The Governing Board approved the contributions for the first quarter of the academic year 2011-2012

Throughout the year, the City of Murcia, through the Department of Social Welfare and Health, which runs María del Carmen Pelegrin, devotes more than 200,000 euros in aid to support the schooling of children of ethnic minorities.

The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light to the contribution of 61,892 euros to help the education of a total of 271 children from 73 schools in the municipality in the first quarter of the 2011-2012 academic year.

The contributions are for the dining room, school transport and / or nursery schools.

The figures for the full school year usually € 220,000 annually for some 350 children from 76 schools in the municipality of Murcia.
