The Murcia Town Hall staff working in positions to the public participates in a training course for the prevention and attention to gender violence.
The first session will be held tomorrow from 8.30 am to 11.30 pm in the Auditorium of the building adjacent to City Hall with the participation of Councillors Social Welfare, María del Carmen Pelegrin, and Equality Policy, Alicia Barquero.
This is a three-hour course in which more than sixty professionals that are among the ordinances, the 010 workers, telephone operators, office staff Decentralization Information (districts), administrators / Municipal Boards as administrative and auxiliary positions to the public.
Among other things, the day was talking about gender and equal rights, discrimination and violence, Municipal Service Team for Violence Against Women (EMAVI) and access to specialized care.
The contents are given in a single session of three hours, to be repeated on November 15, in charge of the municipal team of professionals care violence against women, Women's Section of the Department of Social Welfare and Policy Equality.
This course is part of the Municipal Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men and aims to prepare professionals to ensure proper and correct information and guidance in situations of gender violence.
