Vacationer is the story of a group of people facing change.
But is not that what a man constantly faces, since change is the only really consistent feature of our nature, change is our fate.
Assimilate, manage and interact with that change, life.
Throughout the festive spirit paradoxically, this "tragedy rhythm summer song" conveys a substantial reflection on the dignity of man, intolerance and the need for change.
Director Miguel del Arco has brought the original work of Russian playwright Gorki to the environment of our modern day Spain, printing transparency and lightness to his story and putting together a splendid cast of eleven actors, with a great complicity between them.
Vacationers in 1904, Gorky wrote to be premiered at the Moscow Art Theatre (but then was dismissed and released with great success out of it).
As noted by Stanislavski in my life in art history when Russia was a breeding ground: "The revolutionary ferment, and the same revolution to come, brought to the theater a number of pieces that reflect the mood that prevailed in society , unrest, protests and dreaming of the hero who is able to speak the truth boldly.
