The Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Sanchez, visited the Centers for Reconciling Work and Family Life of Juan Carlos I and Bacons Bridge, offering about 400 seats for babies from 16 weeks to 16 year olds.
Sanchez pointed out that there are two centers for children, pioneers in the national level, that cover the labor needs of new families.
The main objective is to enable family and work relations that allow a balance between fathers and mothers, and facilitate the incorporation of these to work.
They are spaces for the care of basic needs rehabilitative, intellectual, emotional, recreational and leisure time of children from the municipality, to reconcile the parents' work schedules to care for their children.
Comprehensive Center for Children and Reconciliation Juan Carlos I opened its doors in March 2007 and serves children between 16 weeks and six years, attending the Nursery School and playroom, and 6-16 years, participating in the Concilia program.
The Nursery School and Toy Library is operated by the Association of Women's Equality Murcia.
School Children (from 16 weeks to 3 years) is open from Monday to Friday, 8-20 pm, September to July.
The Playroom (3 to 6 years), is open Monday to Friday from 16-20 pm from September to June.
In addition, during the holidays offer other nursery schools.
The total capacity is 127 seats, of which 15 are reserved for Social Welfare.
In addition, this center offers 100 places for children aged 6 to 16 years, the program Concilia, Social Welfare.
