On Tuesday, October 18, opens at the Teatro Circo de Murcia the exhibition "La Barraca in the University: Past and Present of a theatrical utopia", a show that offers a journey through the history and meaning of that company theater founded in 1932 by Garcia Lorca and which enabled many Spanish who had just gained access to the theater to become acquainted with works of Cervantes, Calderon, Lope de Vega and Tirso de Molina.
The exhibition, whose curators are Javier Huertas and Cesar Oliva, is organized by the University of Murcia and the State Society for Cultural Action (AC / E), and it works the Teatro Circo de Murcia.
The activity is intended to spread the activity of that theater group, its history and those who took part in this adventure drama, through a series of modules that simulate the old street old actors luggage, inside which are texts, documents, photographs and other material related to the theater of the era with which we want to recreate the cultural and festive environment, accessible to all, that characterized the spirit of the Hut.
