The councilman of Culture, Rafael Gomez, presented the awards night of the eleventh edition of the national painting contest outside of Santa María de Gracia cultural organized by the Friends of Art, which is chaired by the pastor of the neighborhood, Ramon Garcia

The jury, composed of the painter Vicente Armiñana, Manuel Pardo, Juan Martinez Lax, the gallery owner and writer Javier Antonio Cerezo Parra, selected the winners from among 46 works of artists presented adults, 7 juveniles and 37 children.

In the adult category, first prize (endowed with 1,500 euros) has been to Miguel Mellado, the second (one thousand euros) to Thomas Blai) and third (600 euros) for Maria Teresa Dura.

In the junior category the winners have been Axel Boult (250 euros in paint material), Rocío Peñarrubia (175 euros in material) and Gea Ainara (one hundred euros in material).

In the junior category, the winners have been African Ramirez, Marta Ramirez and Isabel Abellan, all der winning a case of paint and souvenir plate.
