More than 40 young people without jobs do the work of the headquarters of La Alberca (10/10/2011)

A total of 43 pupils aged between 17 and 23 years and temple work done by construction of the new headquarters of Local Police in La Alberca.

Today, jobs are allocated to complete the building, whose structure was made possible by another School Workshop.

In December 2010 Phase II began work on the barracks, in which students perform their work specialty masonry, finish construction, carpentry, locksmith, plumbing, electrical and gardening.

Of the 43 student-workers, 29 are in the process of obtaining a degree in IT.

The building construction consists of four floors and a basement.

The total constructed area of ​​2,473 square meters.

Among the characteristics of the project include the construction of a roof of 475 square meters of energy-efficient roof, installation of 23,000 bricks for interior partitions, 70 interior doors, 72,000 square feet to 1,800 brick facade, 60 exterior doors, 1,580 square meters of porcelain stoneware paving, 1,100 meters of tile in bathrooms and 1,200 meters of plaster ceilings.

Workshop Schools projects are mixed employment-training.

Are intended for the insertion of unemployed youth aged 16 to 24 years, through his skill in alternation with the actual work.

Its objectives are the improvement of the occupation through participation in work or public utility or social interest.

For students participating employees receive training for employment, General Masonry, Building Finishes, Electrical, Plumbing, Hardware and aluminum carpentry, gardening and carpentry of wood, and guidance, counseling and career information that enables them, search for both paid employment and for the creation of their own jobs through self-employment.

The implementation of these projects are implemented with the participation of the Municipality of Murcia, which develops and runs, obtaining the necessary funding through programs for this purpose is regulated and the annual convening of Education, Training and Employment, through the Regional Employment and Training.

The projects consist of a character first stage of initiation and another stage of training alternating with work and professional practice.

The first stage lasts for 6 months during which students receive a scholarship from 9 € / day and the rest of the 3 phases of 6 months, students are hired by the city of Murcia, in the form of Contract for contract Training and receive 75% of the minimum wage interprofesional.A part of the job training is offered for each specialty, along the entire project will be taught: Basic Training: for those who have not exceeded targets ESO, in order to complete the training and broaden their skills to pursue studies at the various teachings regulated by the current educational standards, Computer Literacy, in order to allow students access to new technology workers
