The Municipal Socialist Group supports the residents of La Paz four years after demolition of the nursery (08/10/2011)

Socialist councilors have come this morning to acts called by the inhabitants of La Paz to claim that it has been four years since the demolition of the old nursery school and students still come to class in barracks without conditions giving rise to an irrational situation

The councilors of the Municipal Group Socialist, Mar Rosa, Susana Hernandez and Andrea Garries have joined today to the residents of La Paz in a demonstration called to commemorate the four years of demolition of the old nursery on the grounds of the Estate of the immediate start of works to rehabilitate La Paz.

After this time follow the old school students are in prefabricated classrooms on a site Bacons Bridge road.

The Socialist Party claims that it is irrational to maintain this situation and requires the City Council to put a definitive solution to this problem.

"It's been four years, children remain in the barracks and say it's a temporary situation is to laugh at the neighbors."

PSOE Councillors require the City Council to build a new nursery on the site which was located above or elsewhere in the neighborhood because they can not afford the current situation. "

For the Socialist Group "does not seem that the project will be able to get ahead, as originally conceived, until at least fifteen or twenty years, and therefore can not understand that children have to stay in barracks this time ".

Thus, the PSOE councilors argue that the residents of La Paz were promised that work would begin immediately and so the October 25, 2007 were demolished in the former nursery school urgently and unjustified Now four years after the site is empty and the children attend class in barracks and the city looks the other way when a solution is required.
