7832 will be offered places for a total of 462 courses, workshops and seminars

The Municipal Cultural Center presents a year a whole new program of activities of all kinds to celebrate during the year 2011/2012.

This is a wide variety of activities from workshops initiatives cribs, pottery, basketry, through modeling and sculpture, painting, watercolor, photography (analog and digital), food (tasting, makeshift kitchen ...), cultural heritage , cinema, dance, computer, internet, etc..

The Department of Culture, directed by Rafael Gómez, will open next October 5th 7832 the deadline for people to enroll in one of the 462 courses, workshops and seminars that offer cultural centers this year for the period October 2011-May 2012.

The deadline for entries is October 11 and lists of accepted will be published on October 21 and courses will begin on October 24.

In addition to the training activities described, the cultural centers of Murcia this year developed a series of actions that affect certain aspects of the dissemination of the arts:

It will develop a series of activities to raise awareness of the cultural diversity evident in both districts, as a journey through the different voices and accents are currently living in our city.

Innovative activities:

The Municipal Cultural Center introduces a number of new topics or others expand, leading to very interesting proposals:

1.-Seminars and workshops: Cinema (documentary film, film school), Creative Writing, Photography (digital, photoshop, photo memories,) comic, video creation, Flamenco, cultural walking, chess, hip-hop and so on.

- Memory Patiño heritage, reminding Prisons The Patiñero

-Days ethnographic intangible heritage of Pedanías: it will be in ten Pedanías with the following objectives and content: Exhibition of artwork by the artist Moses Yagües occasion of the publication of "The sounds of tradition" Estate Recovery Workshop heritage of each target population; workshop recovery of intangible heritage and exhibition of the same audiovisual materials collected.

Christmas and other activities organized around the celebration of significant anniversaries: "Book Day", "Women's Day," Carnival, "Environment Day", etc..
