Camera shows in London the big city projects to leading international investment groups (03/10/2011)

Mayor proposes the city to attract investors from around the world to boost the economy and maintain and create more jobs.

Chamber notes that Murcia is modern, innovative technological and social requirements necessary for progress.

Boost the local economy, maintain and create jobs and bring up the region to potential investors around the world.

These are some of the goals it has set the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, will present the major projects, proposals and initiatives in the municipality of Murcia to different groups of investors.

The first meeting is scheduled in London next Wednesday at the conclusion of the Seminar Santander LatAm 2011, an important event that brings together the CEOs of major international companies and heads of major banks in the world.

Miguel Angel House will also hold a meeting next day with representatives of various investment funds and banks in the UK, who have shown interest in learning about social and economic development experienced by the city in recent years.

Chamber investors describe the attractions of the city of Murcia as an area suitable for the establishment of trade relations and business opportunities as it is a modern and competitive city, the existence of valuable human resources and close relations with the EU Europe and the rest of the world.

Among the projects Miguel Ángel Cámara explain to investors include the future Fairgrounds Murcia, Science Park, the City's Recycling and the Museum of Art, Design and Environment, Murcia (Madman) and sustainability initiatives, technology and innovation undertaken in the city.

In addition, along with other local proposals, Murcia will become in the coming years a benchmark for investors around the world for the development of communications after the arrival of the AVE, the future construction of the dock or the International Airport Gorguel .

The Mayor will also participate in a debate on Bloomberg, a group of international broadcasters economic and financial issues.
