Councilwoman Alicia Barquero am involved in the course to be held in the Local Development Agency

Murcia City Council provides training to members of the City Commission of gender equality.

Councilmember Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, will participate tomorrow in this course which aims to strengthen the coordination between the various municipal services and technical staff provide methodological tools for planning, monitoring and evaluation of the Municipal Equal Opportunities.

The course is taught Likadi, a consultant specializing in gender and equality policies, and is structured in two sessions of theory and practice, to be held tomorrow, September 30th and the 12th of December in the Local Development Agency of Murcia .

This training is complemented by another session on legal and technical measures to mainstream gender in hiring, which will take place next October 25 in the auditorium at City Hall Annex Building.

These initiatives reinforce the daily work to achieve gender equality and the prevention of gender violence is done from the different municipal areas.
