The Mayor announced that next week will see the light ordinance to regulate the "express license" (19/09/2011)

Represents a major step in the commitment to cut red tape to facilitate the opening of business and boosting employment.

The Mayor, this morning met with representatives of the family business, has advanced to the plenary address the standard that will cover the future Office of Licensing.

Next week will see the light of the new municipal ordinance that will allow the granting of "express license".

The creation of future licensing office responds to the goal of cutting red tape and promoting the opening of businesses and thereby creating employment.

Chamber has advanced to the plenary to be held on 29 discussed the approval of the municipal ordinance governing the operation of this department, under the Department of City Planning.

The Mayor made the announcement to members of the Association of Family Enterprises Murcia (Amefmur) with which this morning held a meeting.

The same was attended, among others, Councillor for Employment, Trade and Enterprise, José María Tortosa, and the association president, Jose Maria Albarracin.

The reduction of red tape that companies must overcome in their relationship with the City, analysis of the costs they face as well as the tax treatment applied to family businesses have been some issues raised in the meeting.

Moreover, the Mayor has offered to Amefmur the possibility of having a space provided to youth forum of the association into the future business incubator that the City will start shortly.

Fiscal stimulus and transparency

Miguel Angel House has also exposed the representatives of the family business readiness to implement various initiatives aimed at boosting employment and economic activity in the municipality.

These measures ranging from fiscal stimulus to support entrepreneurs, administrative changes to promote austerity and transparency in management, the elimination of barriers, reduction of procedures that hamper investment and greater efficiency and quality in the public services.

The proposals also provide for the funding and support for training or implementation of new infrastructures such as the Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Initiatives.

Amefmur was born in 1996 in order to support and defend the interests of family businesses, regardless of the sector in which they operate.

Currently the group comprising around a hundred companies.
