A course at the University of Mar attempt to prevent drug use during pregnancy (19/09/2011)

Identify risk factors associated with drug use during pregnancy and acquire skills to address this problem and develop a communication plan for the prevention of alcohol and other drugs during pregnancy and lactation, are some of the objectives Course of the International University Campus Mar-Mare Nostrum "reproductive environmental health: prevention of alcohol and other drugs during pregnancy and lactation", to be held in the municipality of Torre Pacheco in the 20th to September 22 .

The course will be taught by pediatricians, gynecologists, pharmacists and nurses as well as by officials from various government agencies related to health.

The opening of the course will be provided by Moon Aurelio Maldonado, Professor of Forensic Medicine, University of Murcia, who will speak on "Drug use: epidemiology and gender."

The activity is led by Consuelo Gate Ortuño, Ana Belen Villar and Maria Falcon Lorenzo Romero.

Enrollees will be entitled to two free credits.
