Murcia City Council will extend the range of sports offered to citizens of the municipality with the construction of four new sports facilities in Santiago and Zaraiche, Espinardo, El Raal and James.
The Consistory approved the specifications for the construction of these sports.
The sports facility will be located Zaraiche Santiago and in the Partial Plan CR-5, and has an area of ​​5,200 square meters.
In Espinardo, the new sports facility will be located next to the old pool, in the Avenida Juan Carlos I, on a plot of 4,800 square meters.
In Raal, the sports complex will be on the street Huerta de Murcia, with an area of ​​19,000 square meters.
In Santiago Major sports facility will be built on a plot of the Partial Plan CR-4, with an area of ​​2,750 square meters.
These four new facilities will add to the 425 sports the to the municipality, among which are 32 sports pavilions, 47 football fields, 18 swimming pools and 21 pools of summer.
