The University of Murcia today presented awards short story contest, which provides 18,000 euros Mall Thader to facilitate visits abroad for Erasmus students.
The first prize, an amount of 9,000 euros was awarded to the student's Degree in French Studies Antonia Garcia Gloria Garcia, who will study this course at the University Lumière Lyon 2 (France).
In second place and 4,000 euros, has been recognized the story of Mario Pérez Aznar, a student of the Degree in Spanish Language and Literature, who will attend the University of Florence (Italy).
María Dolores García Montoya, who studied Fine Arts in Oporto (Portugal), and Alejandro Lopez Soriano, who take chemistry in Kaiserslautern (Germany) won the third and fourth place respectively, endowed with 3,000 and 2,000 euros each.
In their remarks, the Rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, and the company representative stressed Metrovacesa José Ignacio Limpo acceptance among Erasmus students in a literary competition in its sixth edition has topped the 192 papers presented, about a third of students with scholarships.
The ceremony, which took place in the headquarters building of the Rectory, was also attended by the jurors and relatives of the winning students.
