The National Police have arrested seven members of a clan based in the hamlet of Murcia Espinardo (24/06/2011)

Seized 307 grams.

This is the last phase of an operation launched in October last year and offers a total balance of 25 detained

National Police, assigned to the Police Headquarters of Murcia, have broken up an organized group dedicated to drug trafficking in the city of Murcia.

As a result of this operation has arrested seven persons belonging to the same clan settled in the hamlet of Espinardo, who are charged with committing crimes against public health.

Those arrested were using a van as a mobile laboratory and point of sale of drugs.

These arrests are part of the last phase of use of information gathered over several months by agents of the Drug Unit and Organized Crime in Murcia, related to a group of individuals from South America and Spanish engaged in drug trafficking.

Earlier in this operation were arrested a total of 18 people linked to this organization.

Those arrested were involved in the introduction of narcotics from Colombia, from the city of Madrid and Murcia destination.

Then he performed a total of 4 house searches were dismantled two laboratories handling of narcotics and seized a total of 8084 gr.

of cocaine and 20,100 euros in cash.

Adulterated drugs in a van

Since October last year, researchers have been collecting all necessary evidence and have developed various operations for the arrest of individuals associated with the group's activities.

Continuing the research started, on May 24 we proceeded to the arrest of a Spanish man of 27 years, to receive the narcotic substance that came directly from suppliers, some already arrested at earlier stages of research .

The role of the arrested was the manipulation, falsification and preparation of individual doses of drug, ready to be distributed through a network of retail outlets in the village of Murcia Espinardo.

All drug manipulations were carried out aboard a van that the detainee used as a laboratory and had been equipped for the all the needed supplies.

The drugs were then distributed through several homes all located in Espinardo.

After locating the property used for the sale of the substance and identify those responsible for the events under investigation, on June 17 established an extensive police operation involving the simultaneous entry and search of a total of eight homes and a caravan located in that parish.

This caravan, installed in a square in the hamlet of Espinardo was one of the sale of drugs used by the group.

During the operation, six people were arrested.

Addition of the drug involved was seized four firearms, equipment for handling, mixing and packaging of narcotics and cash.

All those arrested in this latest operation are Spanish and older and have been made available to the magistrate on duty Guard Murcia.
