Sports, computing and chemistry for all the courses at the University of the Sea to be held next week (24/06/2011)

Four summer schools planned by the International University Campus Mar-Mare Nostrum held next week.

This is the beginning of this activity continued at the University of Murcia, scheduled throughout the month of July a total of 29 courses and 22 in September, as well as three other activities taking place outside these dates, reaching the 53 activities.

Sport and exercise focused the attention of two courses: "Practical aspects of exercise in the elderly" to be held between 27 and 29 June in Los Alcazares, offers a practical vision for people related to the health of older people to experience different activities and exercise programs that can be done with this sector of the population.

On the other hand, the course "High performance in basketball," which will be held in San Javier from 29 June to 1 July, will bring the general public and training the trainers in the working methods of the top professional basketball.

They also begin next week two other activities aimed at the younger, the "science camp III. Chemistry: our life our future," held during 27 June to 1 July, which coincides with the International Year of Chemical, commemorating the centenary of the Nobel Prize awarded to Marie Curie.

During those five days, students from fourth year of ESO and Bachillerato first undergo a series of activities and workshops that will allow them to approach science from a playful perspective.

Finally, the "Second Summer School of the Faculty of Informatics" will try to bring the high school students, from 27 June to 8 July, a funny and demystifying vision of computing.
