San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia is developing during these months various activities under the Summer Camp 2011.
Note that students could learn about the history UCAM Cartagena and La Union, or visit the Shrine of Fuensanta.
Cartagena and La Union
'The Union: the presence of cultures' was the title of one of the seminar held by the Catholic University of Murcia.
During the seminar, students paid a visit to the architectural aesthetic of the Union Public Market and a tour of the Sierra Minera, during which plunged into the interior of the mine 'Groups Vicenta', visited an open-pit quarry and know in the mining and environmental disaster Portman.
The Vice Chancellor of University Extension of the Catholic University, Antonio Alcaraz, opened the course with the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, Councillor of Tourism, Antonio Liarte, and campus coordinators, Ricardo Lafuente and Esteban Bernal.
Another Summer Camp at the Catholic University of Murcia was held in Cartagena, where attendees took a tour of the Roman theater, toured by boat and learn about the Fort Christmas.
Sanctuary Fuensanta
The UCAM also hosted last Friday June 17 seminar, 'The Shrine of Fuensanta: the valley and its natural resources and heritage. "
During the visit to the Shrine and its valley, the students learned about the history of Murcia's patron saint, the Virgin of Fuensanta and discovered the artistic wealth of the sanctuary.
