The Mayor presented the prizes to the winners of the Baroque Murcia yincana organized by the Rotary Club Murcia North with the collaboration of the Youth Council.

The contest, held last May 7, awarded to students who managed to find monuments.

The team No. 12 College St. Bonaventure has received this morning from the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, iPad and a lot of books after winning the winner of the yincana Rotary Murcia Baroque, organized by the Royary Club Murcia North, with the collaboration of the Youth Council.

The winning group is formed by Michelangelo Rosique-captain, Maria Teresa and Maria Conesa Sánchez.

A Netbook and a batch of books has been the prize awarded to team No. 6 in the San Pablo CEU, composed of Charles Maso (Captain), Francisco Llera and Pablo Gomez, ranked second.

Meanwhile, Gonzalo Linares-captain, David Garcia and Diego Perez, members of the team's No. 5 San Pablo CEU, who won third place, have been awarded an eBook and a lot of books.

At the awards ceremony held this morning in the city, was also attended by the president of the Rotary Club Murcia North Quercop Luis Navarro, and other members of this group.

The celebration of this cultural yincana, which took place on May 7, with the participation of thirty teams of students in 4th of ESO and high school.

The initiative responded to the desire of the organizers to inform young people Murcia playful baroque perspective, in order to show an overview of the historical and monumental heritage with which the city and awaken your passion art, refocus your eyes to a past that shapes the present, teach them to value and respect self and others and promote teamwork, always seeking educational enrichment of the participants and admiration for a legacy that should feel part.

Given the eminently educational and cultural activity, the Rotary Club Murcia North chose firstly assess the number of monuments found, followed by the number of correct answers and in case of a tie, the team had spent the shortest time in making the journey would be declared the winner.
