The rector of the University of Haifa in Israel, David Faraggi, visited the University of Murcia to explore possible collaboration in the exchange of personnel between the two institutions and the establishment of joint postgraduate.
The visit is part of the Israeli university participation in the meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean University, held in Barcelona on Wednesday and also will attend the University of Murcia.
David Faraggi was received by the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, at a reception in the Convalescent building, which was also attended by the University of Murcia, the vice-chancellors Juan María Vázquez, Manuel Vidal and Maria Ángeles Esteban.
The University of Haifa, one of seven in Israel with recognition in research, has 18,000 students, among which includes 1,100 PhD.
