Mayor House introduced the new distribution of responsibilities within the government team (14/06/2011)

It is divided into five major units of coordination to facilitate efficiency and effectiveness in the administration

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, has issued this morning the new administrative structure of City Hall for the 2011-2015 legislature, composed of the following units of coordination:

The new structure is as follows:

A) Care for People:

- Social Affairs and Health

- Equality and Development Cooperation

- Sports

- Youth

- Culture

- Consumption

- Education

B) Community Services:

- Traffic and Transport

- Environment and Sustainable Development

- Urban and Infrastructure Quality

- Planning and Housing

- Urban Sanitation and Waste Management

- Works and Community Services

C) Employment, Innovation and Economy:

- Economy and Finance

- Employment, Trade and Business

- Tourism

D) Government Relations and Interior:

- Institutional Relations

- Recruitment and Heritage

- Security

- Human Resources

- New Technologies

E) Participation and Districts:

- Citizen Participation

- District Coordination

- Decentralization.

Municipal Boards

The delegation of powers of the council shall be:

- María del Carmen García Pelegrín assumes the responsibilities of Social Welfare, Social Services, Cemeteries, Health and Family Policies and Individuals.

- Adela Martínez-Martínez Cache develop the skills of Environment, Local Energy Agency, the Local Plan to Combat Climate Change, Biodiversity, Parks and Gardens, Agriculture and Water.

- Cosme Ruiz Martínez.

Recruitment, Heritage, Statistics, Bureau of Press and Protocol.

- Javier Iniesta Alcázar: Urban Mobility (Traffic and Transport), District Coordination.

- Isabel Martínez Conesa: Finance, which includes Revenue, Treasury, Accounting and Tax Statement.

- Nuria García-Lax Source: Personal Safety and Spokesman of the Group.

- Joaquín Moya, Angel Sanchez, Vice Chair of the House, Office of Local Government, Secretary General of Parliament and Institutional Relations.

- Miguel Cascales Tarazona: Sports, Youth and Tourism.

- Rafael Gomez Carrasco: Culture, Celebration and new technologies.

- José María Tortosa Martínez: Employment, Promotion of Economy, Trade and European Programmes.

- Ana Martinez Vidal: Public Roads, Office of Technical Architecture, Engineering Technical Office, Industrial Services, Urban Planning and Infrastructure.

- María Dolores Sánchez Alarcón: Education.

- José Arce Pallarés: Community Services.

- José Ros Mayor: Cleaning and Waste Collection.

- Juan Antonio Bernabé Knight: Planning and Housing (planning, licensing, technical inspection of buildings, inspections).

- Christopher Smith Martínez: Consumption and Markets.

Decentralization and Municipal Councils.

- Alicia Sánchez Barquero: Office of Accessibility, Political Equality and Development Cooperation.

For his part, Manuel Duran Garcia will be the coordinator of one of the districts.

Also be members of the Board of Governors: Joaquín Moya-Angeler (Secretary), Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, Adela Martinez-Cacho, Ana Martinez Vidal, Cosme Ruiz, Miguel Cascales, Javier Iniesta, Juan Bernabe and Isabel Martinez Conesa.

With regard to the Districts in which neighborhoods and districts distributed, are coordinated by the following Councillors:

- District 1: Rafael Gomez, Espinardo, Santa María de Gracia, El Ranero, San Andrés, San Antolin, San Anton, San Basilio, San Nicolas, Santa Catalina, San Pedro, La Albatalía and The Arboleja.

- District 2: Javier Iniesta.

The Cathedral, San Bartolomé, San Juan, San Lorenzo, Santa Eulalia, San Miguel, La Fama, La Paz, Vista Alegre, Vistabella, Fleet, Zarandona, Santiago and Zaraíche and Bacons Bridge.

- District 3: Maria Dolores Sanchez.

Ms. Fuensanta, El Carmen, La Purisima, San Pio X, James the Greater, Patiño and Barrio del Progreso.

- District 4: Christopher Smith.

- District 7: Alicia Barquero.

Javalí New Javalí Viejo, La Ñora, Guadalupe, Aljucer, Rincon de Seca, Beniscornia corner, La Raya, Puebla de Soto, and was Nonduermas Alta.

- District 8: Manuel Duran.
