The artistic heritage of the city is increased by five works donated to the Museum of the City (08/06/2011)

The Mayor has received this morning assignments

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, received this morning five works donated to the city of Murcia, starting today, they become part of the heritage of the City Museum.

It is signed by Manolo creations Pardo, José Hurtado Mena and Carlos J.

Wandering, while the fourth is an anonymous Murcia and the latter corresponds to a model of the altar of the Shrine of Courtesy Fuensanta Francisco Serra.

Manolo Pardo's painting entitled "Bath House" has been done in mixed media and oil on canvas, and has dimensions of 97 x 130 cm.

His assignment to the City Council held indefinitely.

The work of Jose Hurtado Mena incorporates pictorial background Municipal Mayor called Fortress and its size is identical to the previous.

Wandering was also donated to the City.

Finally, a work in painted clay alcohol, folk crafts belonging to Murcia from the early twentieth century and the model presented in the competition to restore the altar of the Shrine of Fuensanta held in 1956 completed the donations received today by Mayor who has used the ceremony held at the Museum of the City to thank the owners who have shown generosity by giving his works to the cultural heritage of Murcia.

In the text have been present, besides the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, and the Councillor for Culture and the Director of the Municipal Museums, Manolo Pardo, José Hurtado Mena, José Antonio García and Francisco Serra.
