Success tennis match to benefit the victims of the earthquake Lorca (08/06/2011)

More than 4,500 spectators gathered at the Sports Palace to witness a tennis match between Nicolas Almagro, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Anabel Medina and María José Martínez With the event raised 40,000 euros to be allocated to Lorca

The tennis match to benefit the victims of the earthquake Lorca organized by the Department of Employment, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation, who heads Beatriz Hontoria and Nico Almagro tennis, with the collaboration of the Spanish Tennis Federation was a success.

More than 4,500 people attended yesterday at the Sports Palace tennis matches featuring Nicolas Almagro, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Anabel Medina and María José Martínez.

In total around 40,000 euros were raised which will go to the NGO of the Local Police of the City of Murcia, Blue in Action, which will deliver the money to the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, to which it is intended to necessary tasks.

During the event, which was presented by Antonio Hidalgo and Eva Franco, were raffled among attendees shirts signed by Federer, Murray, Nadal, David Ferrer and Djokovic, Rafa Nadal racket, gloves signed by Iker Casillas and the player's boots Soccer-hall Kike Boned, among many other gifts.

They also supported the event, Aldermen of the City of Murcia Adela Martinez-Cacho, Miguel Cascales, María Dolores Sánchez and Rafael Gomez, coach and player of Real Murcia, CB Murcia players and bullfighters Pepin Liria and José Mari Manzanares.

Also participating in the children act Tennis Club and Tennis Club Lorca Los Alamos (Lorca), who played with the players.
