The University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic 98 taught summer courses at 21 sites (18/05/2011)

Sea International University taught 98 courses spread over 21 sites summer, for the first time will be organized jointly by the University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic Campus of Excellence Mare Nostrum these two leading institutions of higher education.

These sites supposed to reach about 80% of the population of the Region of Murcia: Abarán, Aguilas, Alhama, Blanca, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cartagena, Cehegín, Cieza, La Union, Las Torres de Cotillas, Lorca, Los Alcazares Molina de Segura, Murcia, Puerto Lumbreras, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar, Torre Pacheco and Yecla, in addition to the General Air Academy and the town of Sant Antoni de Portmany (Ibiza).

Cartagena is the city that hosts more activities, with 43, followed by Eagles (10) and the city of Murcia (9), while this edition incorporates headquarters Cotillas Towers and remains as a representative from outside the Ibiza region that municipality.

Another novelty is the presence of Argentina's Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, who participate through virtual education in one of the activities to be held in Cartagena, thus fulfilling the internationally oriented programming and the Mare Nostrum Campus, as set show the director of the International University of the Sea, Manuela Lopez Tenes.
