The Young Art Laboratory shows students a sound installation at the Institute of Floridablanca Murcia (18/05/2011)

Youth Art Laboratory (LAB) hosts from tomorrow, Thursday (20:30 hours, Laboratorio de Arte Joven, Balearic Islands Plaza, s / n) until June 19, the sound installation 'Sonata 6'56 "' by a group of students from IES Floridablanca in Murcia.

The book contains several songs written with real sounds that the authors, students Maria Hernandez, Miguel Hernandez and Macarena Llamas, and Professor Juan Jesus Yelo Cano, recorded in Murcia to show different sound realities that surround us in the city.

The facility, despite its contemporary look that is presented through a sculpture, has a feature as archaic as the composition of the sonatas, used by musicians such as Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven for his work.

The young authors made a selection of all sound recordings made and modified some of them to create different themes, which can identify sounds like a train, the buzzing of a swarm of bees or the steady trickle of water.

This work is part of the 'Murcia, sound material', sponsored by the Centro Municipal Puertas de Castilla of the City of Murcia.

The LAB is a space to promote youth development within the Directorate General of Youth.
