San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), presented this morning in the Avenida de la Libertad de Murcia, with the solar car to participate in the prestigious Shell Eco Marathon competition to be held in Germany from 23 to 29 May.
Note that in this race, considered the most important in Europe, have only been elected to serve 20 Spanish models, including the Catholic University of Murcia.
The prototype of the UCAM, which is called San Antonio, and was proclaimed champion of Spain in Category Solar Photovoltaics in the last edition of the Solar Race.
The ceremony was attended, among others, the Director General of ARGEM, Teodoro Garcia, the director general of Vocational and Adult, Joaquín Buendía, the managing director of the Seneca Foundation, Antonio González, and the director of the Systems Level UCAM telecommunications, Rafael Melendreras, who was accompanied by some members that make up the San Antonio RT.
