The colorful world of Willy Ramos is close to Murcia (11/05/2011)

"A world of light" opens May 19.

Willy Ramos, who lives at a young age in Valencia, was educated at the Escuela de Bellas Artes de San Carlos, is an artist who has worked in many cities worldwide.

And these impressions have led to the canvas.

"Valencia is a city of gardens and colors," he says.

The theme of Willy Ramos is varied and in this exhibition we see the color, strength, nature, the faces, the city and the woman as some of the most intriguing series.

The selection of this exhibition has been very specific and it should be noted that this time we will see the artist painting and drawing where the origin of the Caribbean work is present through its color and strength and where time does not matter.

Willy Ramos is a contemporary painter Colombia.

At fourteen he emigrated from his hometown of Pueblo Bello, to Valencia, where he lives and where he majored in Fine Arts in 1974 from the School of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Valencia.

Since then he has stopped doing exhibitions, both individual and collective.

He completed his studies with a course at the School of Contemporary Mural San Cugat del Vallés, Barcelona, ​​and a course of etching and lithography at the Instituto Statale D'Arte in Urbino, Italy.

It is also Doctor Cum Laude in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and professor of the same.

His paintings are reminiscent of the great masters of the twentieth century such as Kandinsky and Matisse.

Rather than literally representing flowers, landscapes and figures, Willy paints an idea about nature, and does so with vibrant colors, either with oil, watercolor on paper or charcoal.

Among the most representative sites where it has exposed, as international exhibitions include Art Madrid, ARTBO, or fairs of Toulouse, Marbella, Milan, Parma and Miami, among others.

It also has paintings in museums and institutions like the Museum of Contemporary Art in Elche Caja Mediterráneo.
