AFFIRMA organizes a series of events to mark the World Day for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia (10/05/2011)

The association is celebrating the anniversary with a charity dinner

The Deputy Mayor for Social Welfare Policy and Equality, María del Carmen Pelegrin, has participated this morning in the presentation of the activities to mark the World Day for CFS and Fibromyalgia, May 12, the Association has organized AFFIRMA for Wednesday and Thursday (11 May 12).

The aim of AFFIRMA, said the spokesman, is to improve the quality of life through the necessary mechanisms, requiring social and health management, we provide means of early diagnosis, multidisciplinary treatment, research, and, as a basis for all and the recognition and appropriate social-health treatment to prevent severe it is.

One of the most important functions of the Affirm is to have open a headquarters, a place where those affected, relatives and friends can be heard and driven to the suspicion of disease, or who is already diagnosed.

On the occasion of World Day for CFS and FM, have organized the following activities:

Wednesday, May 11.

Information tables on Constitution Avenue (Gate Corte Inglés) throughout the day.

Thursday Day 12 May.

World Day for CFS and FM.

Starting at 17:30 pm in the Plaza de Belluga, a panel mural for about 2 hours, where Affirm offers people who want to collaborate with their hands and show the support that is the approach and awareness society with these diseases.

The mural will end with a release of balloons in honor of the victims at 19:30.

At 20.15 hours a Mass to be held at 20:15 am, officiated by the Bishop in the Cathedral of Murcia in honor of all of the chronically ill and listen to the Manifesto of this year, Encarna Talavera voice, presenter 7RM.

Moreover, to celebrate 10 years Affirmed takes this path, is organizing a benefit dinner at the restaurant Souk Guadalupe Tower, which will be held on Friday, May 27, which may many people attend in support and collaboration of the work done daily Affirmed.

From 19:30 pm there will be interesting lectures, live music, piano and dance.
