Ramón Gaya Museum expands its Night of Museums (10/05/2011)

This year will offer a guided tour to spend more each day

Ramón Gaya Museum, in cooperation with Iberdrola, returns to join the celebration of 'The Night of Museums, an initiative sponsored by the Council of Europe to Murcia hosts for the seventh consecutive year.

The main novelty is that this year will spend more than one tour in each day, due to the success of previous years, this coming Friday 12 and Saturday 13.

Thus, eight meetings have been organized guided tours, musical performances and other activities taking place on the nights of Friday 14 and Saturday 15 May.

The museum will remain open until two in the morning, has organized four tours each night (at 22.15, 23, 23.45 and 0.30 hours), under the name 'Gaya's friends visit the Museum' , in which the gallery director, Manuel Fernández-Delgado, will be responsible for explaining to the audience a series of pictures.

Thus, the visitor will find works of John Bonafe, Pedro Flores, Luis Garay, Christopher Hall and Joaquin and Ramon Gaya made tributes to some of these friends.

Likewise, music, acrobatics and juggling will be present at this celebration, with performances in the plaza and in the museum.

Although these tours are free, you need to collect before an invitation at the museum since the capacity of each of the visits is limited to 40 people.

El Museo Ramón Gaya held since 2005 "Night of the Museums' which made him the first in Murcia to do so.

It is also the only one who holds two consecutive days.
