The UCAM will attend the beatification of John Paul II (29/04/2011)

San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) will be present during the ceremony of beatification of John Paul II in Rome that will take place on Sunday May 1, the day of the Feast of Divine Mercy.

UCAM Expedition, led by its president, José Luis Mendoza, with his family, and most of the University Chaplain, Luis Emilio Pascual, has moved into the city.

Also, note that the bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca Planes, accompany the UCAM in this event that recognizes the Polish pope's life was marked by his service to the Church.

The Catholic University of Murcia from the beginning maintained a good relationship with Pope John Paul II, as evidenced by the private hearing held in February 2002, various members of the educational institution with the late Pontiff, and which pursued a Eucharist which was led by the Holy Father.
