Millions of flowers will be distributed at the parade of "Murcia Spring" (25/04/2011)

The international projection of the head, new this year

The color will be the star of the great floral parade "Murcia Spring" that will take place next Wednesday, April 27, through the streets of the city of Murcia.

This parade has been held for eleven years and it is intended to highlight the great importance of flowers in the Region of Murcia.

The itinerary is as follows: Avenida Alfonso X El Sabio, Plaza de Santo Domingo, Alejandro Seiquer Street, Plaza Cetina, street Isidoro de la Cierva, Painter Villacis, Plaza Ceballos and Lieutenant Flomesta.

The flowers used for decorating the floats the producers and wholesalers supplying the region or neighboring provinces and the Flower Market and Plant Mercamurcia coordinates the entire parade.

Regarding the components of the parade, it is noteworthy that the head, completely new, have a special attraction as it will consist of troupes and groups, mostly from different parts of the world.

There will be an American band, a French troupe will also be created in Murcia shows made especially for the parade, such as the "Secret of Spring."

The parade will consist of ten coaches, entirely decorated by flowers of the Region of Murcia, and four extras in the municipality of Murcia.

There will also be a representation of all the festivities taking place in the Spring Festival (Burial of the Sardine, Bando de la Huerta, International Tuna Competition Costa Calida, etc.).

After the parade, the Glorieta of Spain, will deliver all the flowers that adorn the floats.
