The director of i-RTVE, has spoken today in the UCAM on the platform model of Spanish Radio and Television

"Today we can not talk without referring to Internet TV", as declared this morning at the Universidad Catolica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) the director of i-RTVE, Ricardo Villa, who initiated the sessions of the Second Workshop of the Multiplatform Audiovisual Industry, the conference `The Spanish television platform model."

The rector of the UCAM, Josefina García Lozano, inaugurated the activity, accompanied by the Director General of Information, Telecommunication and Information Society of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Manuel Escudero, and the Director of Engineering Degree in Systems Telecommunications, Rafael Melendreras.

Ricardo Villa explained that the Internet has completely transformed the Media because of the influence of Facebook, the mass distribution of video across the network and the multiplication of screens and devices such as tablets and mobile art.

For his part, Manuel Escudero has weighed positively during the opening ceremony, this initiative promoted by the research group Digitalac, the UCAM.

"This II Workshop, set in the 2011 edition of SICARM, contributes to bringing the Murcia to the New Technologies of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), said.

Escudero stressed that the CARM, bet as decided by the Audiovisual Industry.

For its part, the rector of the UCAM, Josefina García Lozano, has highlighted the commitment of the San Antonio Catholic University to research, the development of new technologies and opening new opportunities for all and emphasized the need to link closely together, knowledge, research and society.

Importantly, the symposium also included development of a separate round tables, focusing on content analysis of television connected, by leading experts in the visual environment and Telecommunications as Pere Vila, TVE Digital, Raul Fernandez, Gigaset, Alfred Lozano, SHARP, Xavier Redon, Albertis Telecom, and Alfonso Morales, adviser to the Minister of the Presidency of the Government of Spain.
