A team of students from IES "Vicente Medina" Archena and another of "Alfonso X" (Murcia) were the winners of the Regional Informatics Olympiad IV in the form of tools and the programming, respectively.
Secondary school students Jesús Ángel Martínez Daniel Carbonel Saorin and formed the team that won the contest of information tools, while Ezequiel Solana Santamaría Martínez Navarro and Andrew won the Program and shall represent the Region of Murcia on the national stage Olympiad to be held in June in Barcelona.
In the form of tools, the team finished second Marist College "La Merced" Fuensanta "(Murcia) composed by Sergio Van Passel Gambín and Jose Daniel Bueno Sánchez, and third formed by Rafael García Ruiz and Javier Saura Lasheras, College "Santa Joaquina de Vedruna" (Cartagena).
In programming, the second place went to Daniel Sánchez Marín, Cartagena of that school, while the third was for the team of students Narciso López Sánchez and Sergio Jimenez Gambín, the CEC "Severo Ochoa" (The Garres, Murcia).
A proof was provided about 60 high school students from different institutions in the Region of Murcia.
Moreover, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Murcia has organized the II Olympiad in this specialty, which will select representatives from Murcia to the national phase of the Olympics.
With this activity, the School aims to promote the study of Economics and Business at the regional level, as well as strengthen and maintain links with students and secondary education professionals from these materials.
