Express courses are one month

The Sports Council has launched a new system for children from 4 to 8 learn to swim without having to attend swimming lessons during a full course.

Express courses is one month in duration to be carried out in pools Mar Menor, Bacons Bridge and sports centers Inacua, Cabeza de Torres, JC1 and Verdolay.

The total supply of seats is 945, in the afternoon and lasting lessons of 45 minutes.

You can choose between courses of 8 hours per month (Tuesdays and Thursdays), or twelve hours per month (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).

The course may be renewed every month, making it possible to enroll in one, two or all three workshops.

Each group, depending on the sports center will have between 10 and 15 seats.

The implementation dates are:

-From 1 to April 30

-From 3 to May 31

-From 1 to June 30

Course price is 11.80 euros per month for classes Tuesday and Thursday and 18.85 euros per month for classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The Councillor for Sports, Miguel Cascales, explained that the goal is to offer more places for these children because they are in high demand at these ages, and to the possibility that children can learn to swim before summer arrives.

On March 28 the registration period begins.
