Lorca plans with the local police commemorates the feast of St. Patrick]

Local police have gathered this morning at the Cathedral of Murcia to celebrate with a Mass celebrated by Bishop, Bishop José Manuel Lorca Planes, the feast of its patron, Saint Patrick.

Next to the Local Police have attended the Eucharist other civil authorities, military, judicial, municipal corporation and other members of the security forces, among which there have been representatives of the Civil Guard and National Police.

The event began with a procession through the cloister inside the cathedral, carrying the image of the saint.

Subsequently, the Mass took place in which together with Shepherd of the Diocese have concelebrated the Judicial Vicar, D.

Miguel Angel Prisons, the canons and other priests.

Plans Lorca Bishop has remarked in his homily that beyond any human security is "Jesus Christ is the center of our life and who gives it meaning."

The bishop has asked the Lord that, through San Patricio, "take care of all that we entrust to you, this city and the men and women belonging to the Local Police."

Lorca Bishop reminded the police that "we are with you" and that "we appreciate and value your work."

The Pastor concluded by encouraging them to continue their efforts to achieve "a peaceful coexistence in peace and harmony, a city that likes to look ahead with hope."
