Juan Carlos Palazón Cabanes, the Marist College Merced, and Victor Manuel Perez Navarro, the school Las Claras del Mar Menor, have won the local phase of the Chemistry Olympiad in the headquarters of the University of Murcia and Cartagena University , respectively.
The Olympics has provided in this edition of two sites, Murcia and Cartagena, which has contributed, according to organizers, the Association of Chemists of Murcia, increased participation, which has seen 94 students from 22 secondary schools.
At the headquarters of the University of Murcia, and after Palazón Cabanes, have been Pablo Vicente Ramón Muñoz, also of Marist College Merced, and Roberto Pérez González, Archbishop Lozano institute.
After Perez Navarro, at the headquarters of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena are classified Francisco Moreno and Raquel Moral Miguel Egea Ros, both the institute Jiménez de la Espada.
The winners, who received their awards at the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, will represent the Region of Murcia on the national stage the Olympics to be held in Valencia from 29 April to 1 May this year.
The competition has been sponsored by the Seneca Foundation and the School Board of the Region and the two public universities.
