The president presides over the events of the twentieth anniversary of the School of Social Work (16/03/2011)

The rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, took part today in the round table which have initiated activities to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the creation of the School of Social Work at the educational institution and the International Labour Day Social.

The panel chaired by the chancellor has reviewed the twenty years of history from the creation of the School of social workers to its current power conversion, and it has intervened several directors with whom he has had this university and the current dean Enrique Pastor.

In this table, has followed one on the vision of the school by several students and a lecture by Ana Isabel Lima, president of the General Council of Graduates in Social Work and Social Workers in Spain, which had focused on the present and future Social Work in Spain and Europe.

Among the activities organized today in the Faculty, the Association of Graduates in Social Work and Social Workers in the Region of Murcia has granted awards to social workers who met twenty five years of licensing.

The events continue tomorrow, day 17, from 9:00 am, with dramatized readings of stories on the occasion of International Women's Rights.

Also tomorrow, at 13:00 pm and will open the celebrations of Social Work with performances by musical groups from the Faculty pneumothorax, Rap & Nyka Non Grata and Nadal Stadium.

During both days will run a solidarity and the sample will be exposed to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the center.
