Artists and groups from 22 countries will perform in the XII International Festival Murcia Tres Culturas (16/03/2011)

Mali is the guest of this edition that will debut three new cycles.

Space terrace Molinos del Rio Stables will for the first time one of the 23 stages of the festival

The XII International Festival Murcia Tres Culturas next raise the curtain on May 19 and will run for ten days, in which actions will occur from 22 artists from countries such as Spain, Algeria, Argentina, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, United States, France, India, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Portugal, Czech Republic, Singapore, Syria and Sudan.

One of the novelties of this edition is that the Space terrace Molinos del Rio Stables will host performances thus joining other past scenarios such as Faculty of the University, Museo de la Ciudad, Calle Basabé, Artillery Barracks Courtyard, Plaza Europe, Plaza of the Apostles, Museum of Santa Clara, Plaza Santa Eulalia, Santa Catalina Square, Wall of the Rincon de Pepe, Plaza de la Cruz, Wall Veronicas, Floridablanca Garden Belluga Square, St. Basil, St. John's Church Museum God, Church of Santa Ana, Santo Domingo Church, Auditorium ESAD, Glorieta Spain, Puerta Falsa, and Chamber Musik (low bullring)

Thus, most of the shows are held outdoors, taking advantage of warm spring nights, public spaces, its heritage and tradition are deeply tied to the history of the city and the essence of this festival.

During these days sound both traditional and current music among which are Sephardic, Jazz, Sacred, Balkan, Classical India, al-Andalus, Gospel, Blues, Pop-rock, indie, Klezmer, Pop, Hip Hop, African or Persian.

Pitingo singer, with his distinctive fusion of flamenco and soul, opens the XII International Festival for Tolerance Murcia Tres Culturas, in a great show opening which will be accompanied by Juan Carmona (Ketama componte ex) to guitar, flamenco and a gospel choir, among other musicians.

The appointment will be on Saturday May 21 at 22 am in the Artillery Barracks Murcia.

Mali is the guest in the twelfth edition of the Festival Murcia Tres Culturas, which includes programming in three performances of music featuring artists from the African country, will open this section Khaira Arby, known as the "diva of Mali ',' the young pearl of Mali ', Fatoumata Diawara and the latest music in Mali sound made by the hand of Samou Bagayoko & Smod.

The gospel will be the star of the closing concert to be held on Saturday 28 May at 22.30 pm in the Plaza Belluga.

In this context, one of the most prestigious courses in the United States, The Jackson Singers, will perform Spiritual Inspiration, a journey through 20 years of gospel

The Festival program this year includes 3 new courses:

- Cycle Entrevoces: framing three different manifestations polyphonic a capella.

In the Senate of the University of Murcia will bring together three groups that specialize in traditional and religious music: Eva Quartet, Corou of Berra, and Vocame.

- Cycle Entredós, starting with the performance of Bhakti group, formed by artists from India and Singapore, whose specialty is music and dance of India, Umey, a group that will offer the show Flavor of Al-Andalus and Persepolis to close the loop with mounting Sonnati musiqí-e-e Irani.

- Cycle Three Cultures for Children includes three shows in which the youngest are both spectators and players: Kexev Kezev dela Tapeplas company, things that are told and sung, played by Gabriel Calvo, and the gathering of voices, with the participation of the Coral Discantus, the Choir Fernández Caballero, and Coral Hims Mola.

The traditional Feast of the Three Cultures will be held from 20 pm on Friday, 27 to 24 hours on Saturday 28 May.

In this important expression of tolerance and mixing, in which the coexistence of musics of different styles and traditions is experienced as a form of artistic and cultural enrichment, involving the following artists and groups: Luis Paniagua, Angela Bossa, Neuman, Linda Scanlon & Band, Noise Box, Fatoumata Diawara, Analogic, Mariel M.

Tango, Marenostrum, Children and Youth Section of the Coral Discantus, Section Children and Youth Choir Fernández Caballero, White Voices Choir and Youth Choir Hims Mola, Troupe Mediterranean Rodinka, Kabyle Ensemble, Trio Rava Tao, Netnakisum, Melech Mechaya , Arabesk Dance Troupe, Samou Bagayoko & Smod and The Jackson Singers.
