The School of Social Work at the University of Murcia celebrates its twentieth anniversary with discussions of these studies (15/03/2011)

The School of Social Work at the University of Murcia celebrates the twentieth anniversary of the implementation of these studies and the World Social Work Day with several discussions and other activities taking place tomorrow, 16, and Thursday in the center, located in Espinardo campus.

The first roundtable, to be held tomorrow at 11:30 am, will address these twenty years of history from the creation in 1991 of the School of Social Work to date, in which the center has become faculty.

The president of the General Council of Graduates in Social Work and Social Workers of Spain, Ana Isabel Lima, will give a lecture at 12:00 on "Present and future of social work in Spain and Europe."

The morning session includes another panel discussion on the vision of the School by former students and the awards ceremony for social workers.

For its part, Thursday, August 17, after 9:00 pm will conduct a staged reading of stories to mark the International Day of Women's Rights.

During these two days work a solidarity and the sample will be exposed to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the center.
