2,600 runners from 20 countries will participate in the Half Marathon Ciudad de Murcia (10/03/2011)

The test will be held on March 13, from 10 am The route is through the main streets of downtown for the first time the race will take the Barrio del Carmen

About 2,600 runners from 20 countries will vie for the XXXII edition of Murcia City Half Marathon to be held on Sunday 13 March.

This year we change the circuit for the first time the race will take the streets of the Barrio del Carmen.

As in last year, runners can choose to participate in the Half Marathon (21,097 meters) by the whole circuit twice, or go just one lap of the circuit (about 10 Km).

The race is organized by the Athletic Club Murcia, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports City of Murcia and Eroski.

The registration period has already closed.

The Councillor for Sports, Miguel Cascales, stressed the importance of this race, one of the most popular and crowded, and the proof is that turns 32 years old and has participants from all nationalities.

The start and finish will be located on Avenida Pio Baroja, next to the flag Infante.

Participants can collect their dorsal, accreditation and Tovarsport chip in the Segura River Avenue or in the pavilion Infante, the day of the race.

The riders will leave from the Avenida Pío Baroja at 10.00.

Race is scheduled to end at 13.00.

The route is: Pio Baroja, Infante Don Juan Manuel to Vistabella bridge, Bridge Avenue to Hospital Infante, Ronda de Garay, lieutenant Flomesta, Gran Via, C / Maestro Alonso, Santa Clara, Alfonso X to the Round, Gutierrez Mellado, Tapia José Sanz, Antonete Gálvez, La Fama (to Atalayas) Antonete Gálvez, Avda La Fama to Education and to Atalayas Avda La Fama, Antonete Gálvez, José Sanz Tapia, Gutierrez Mellado, Alfonso X to the Round Santo Alfonso X to Domingo, Jaime I, Gran Via, Lieutenant Flomesta, Ronda de Garay, Bridge Hospital, Infante Juan Manuel to bridge Red Cross, Pablo Neruda, Juan Ramon Jimenez walk, San Juan de la Cruz and Pio Baroja, here ends the first round.
