Murcia University will collaborate with the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery in acts latter institution has been prepared to commemorate its second century and that will take place next autumn.
During a meeting in the building Convalescence by the Academy president, Emilio Robles, and also a director of it, Professor Guzman Ortuño, with the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, first reported on these activities, including conferences, round tables and a campaign on emerging diseases.
Ortuño Robles and also stated that there will be a presentation on "Murcia and nineteenth-century Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery" and other academic events, among others.
Cobacho pledged the support of the institution he presides at the Royal Academy, with which the University has a collaboration agreement that was signed years ago.
