Kitchen Ten students Vocational Training Program of the Department of Employment of the City of Murcia have demonstrated the ease today with between cookers in the food which was held at the Centre for Employment Initiatives Sangonera la Verde.

These students began classes in October, together with other 144 young people, aged 16 and 17, who, in addition to cooking, are studying the specialties of electrical engineering and communications facilities, welding and steel construction, hairdressing, beauty, computers, plumbing, air conditioning and vehicle maintenance.

Students have prepared a meal cooking-demonstration and practical to their studies, which have assisted the City Council for Employment, Hontoria Beatriz Hernández, Director General of Vocational Training of the Autonomous Community, Joaquín Buendía, the Assistant Director General for Vocational Training Francisco Javier Hidalgo, the Program faculty, technicians who coordinate the project so the City Council and the Ministry of Education and the media.

The food has been served by students in the course of bar-restaurant waiter Training Program for Employment that the City carried out in collaboration with the SEF.

The Initial Professional Qualification Program (IPPP) is to the students to achieve Level 1 skills, and provide the possibility of job placement or continue their education.

Murcia City Council has been conducting such programs since 1992.

155 profiles have been taught and trained professionals to 1,700 students.

This course has enrolled 120 boys and 34 girls, aged between 16 and 17, who have dropped out in 2 º and 3 º ESO, 85 and 39 living in districts in the capital.

Students who pass the training may be carried out in June to 150 hours of work experience in companies in the municipality of Murcia, with which the City has signed cooperation agreements.

After approving the formation, may decide to join the workforce or enroll in a secondary school to study modules volunteers 2 of PCPI, which if approved, will lead to obtaining the Diploma in ESO 53% of students complete the program continue to study, while 7% choose to work.
