The music and drama invade streets and squares during the weekends from March to June (04/03/2011)

Music and Theater cycles offer five shows and five concerts from March 6 to June 21

The music and the theater re-invade the streets and squares.

The Department of Culture has scheduled the third edition of the second cycle of Theatre and Music, which will be inserted for nine weekends from next Sunday, March 6 through Tuesday, June 21, with special attention to the World Theatre Day ( dual action this weekend) and the European Music Day, a culmination of the programming.

On this occasion, the five concerts and theatrical five scheduled to take place in the Square of Spain, Plaza de Santo Domingo, Plaza del Cardenal Belluga, Avenida de la Libertad, the artillery barracks, Basabé Street, Square and Plaza Apóstolese Santa Catalina.

Theatre will be held on 13, 26 and March 27, 1910 April and 13 May.

Participating companies from Castellón, Basque Country, Murcia, Argentina and Madrid which will offer the following shows:

- Sunday March 13, 1913 hours (Plaza Santo Domingo): 'Soup magicians', the company La Troupe Malabo: A magic show, clowns and equally, a global entertainment and spectacular for everyone and also for children where the greater will be the most surprised.

- Saturday March 26, 21:30 pm (Plaza Cardenal Belluga): 'Therapy' Markeliñe Company: Therapy is a reflection on the chosen mate for life, a gestural work with solid drama.

- Sunday March 27, 1913 hours (traveling, to begin on the Avenida de la Libertad), 'Habitus Mundi' Nacho Vilar Company: Want to be a lighthearted show is no intent to hurt feelings, and the only purpose the public to have fun, to forget for an hour of harsh reality.

- Sunday April 10, 1913 hours (Artillery Barracks): "Divertimento Alegre 'company Arturello di Popolo: comic show with fine and expressive pantomime, with the fast pace of their outrageous gags, its clever juggling and magic effects eccentric, manages to recreate an era of silent films and vaudeville.

- Friday May 13, 1919 hours (Plaza of the Apostles): "... spring rolls ... 'Chimichurri Company: This show calls at us through the different expressions of the same feeling, that conditions us and beautify existence.

Music will offer five concerts by the Conservatory of Music Manuel Massotti to be held on 6 and 20 March, 3 April, 6 May and 21 June, European Day of Music:

- Sunday March 6, 1913 hours (Glorieta Spain): Metal Ensemble under the direction of Alberto Cuartas.

- Sunday March 20, 1913 hours (Plaza Cardenal Belluga): Flamenco Guitar under the direction of Carlos Piñana.

Displaying the most representative of flamenco styles for guitar.

- Sunday April 3, 1913 hours (Kiosk of Artillery Barracks): String Quartet and Wind Quintet under the direction of Gabriel Lauret, Manuel Rives.

Music, variety and fun.

In both cycles, the Department of Culture aims to bring the performing arts and music to Murcia, transferring to public spaces.

Besides being a time schedule for recreational, aims to generate a stimulus to the economy and jobs as the venues are near bars and cafes terraces for viewers to consume while enjoying interpretations.

The Department of Culture has published 10,000 leaflets with all the information cycle: the shows, its argument, the date and time and a plane on which are marked all the places where they thrive.
