Murcia has received 11 million euros to finance the construction and improvement of 12 social and cultural centers in the municipality

The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, has visited the site of the new Community Centre in Rincon de Seca Murcia.

The construction of this new building is being financed by the Government of Spain with funds from Plan E 2010 with an investment of 1.2 billion euros.

The works have created 40 jobs.

The building has a new plant to day center for seniors activities and offices for the Center for Women.

The facility will have basically the ground floor for the elderly with a café, a multipurpose hall, a reading room, hairdressing and physiotherapy service.

On the top floor will be installed on Women's Center, with offices and workshop rooms and rooms of new technologies.

There will also be the appropriate units for offices, toilets and storage.

Moreover, the delegate explained that the new center will have spaces for testing Bell's Corner Aurora Seca.

Tovar González pointed out that, like the rest of the work of Plan E, 2010, funds from the Government of Spain also needed for furniture at this center.

To do this, there is a game, included in the total allocated for 185,000 euros.

Furthermore, in the Rincón de Seca last year held another work of Plan E, which consisted in the renewal and improvement of public lighting, amounting to 92,000 euros.

The delegate also pointed out that the State Fund 2010 is financed in the municipality of Murcia the construction and upgrading of 12 local cultural and social centers.

As the five new centers of Guadalupe, Barrio del Progreso, Lobosillo, and this Beniaján-Azacaya Rincon de Seca, the major reforms of the social centers of El Palmar, El Llano de Brujas and Rane, the new auditorium and new Beniaján center of youth initiatives in El Palmar as well as the rehabilitation of the multifunctional Garcia Alix in Murcia and the new municipal center Churra initiatives.
