Serene service is extended to district Vistabella (28/02/2011)

The Department raises to 100 the places of the course to the employment exchange of Watchmen

So far have received about 1,800 requests for access to training

Serene service, which provides the Department of Employment, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation, is extended to cover the neighborhood of Vistabella.

The act calm in the area stretching from First Avenue to Avenida de Mayo Mayor Jorge Palacios, from Mayor Jorge Palacios to Ronda de Garay, Ronda de Garay to the Avenue of Fame, for C / Joselito and C / Antwerp; of Fame to Tarragona Street and First of May.

Vistabella be divided into two areas to be covered by two watchmen.

Serene service was born in 2007 and implemented in the district of Carmen and toes.

In 2008 it expanded to El Palmar, Murcia Sucina and center.

Currently work 64 serene.

During the month of January, 39,623 have been performances, of which 13,015 correspond to El Palmar (32.8%), 9715 to the Central region (24.7%); 7878 the Barrio del Carmen (19.8%); 4234 to Sucina (10.7%) and 4,781 to Los Garres (12.0%).

The main interventions of this service are to warn of turning off lights and closing blinds in stores, ads for impairment on a public street furniture, information, orientation to neighbors and passersby, neighbors and close support portals.

Training courses

The Department of Employment, headed Beatriz Hontoria, has launched a course to train unemployed persons as watchmen to create an employment.

Hontoria has announced that the number of places on the course will increase from 50 to 100, due to high demand that is taking, as they have been registered with the Department of Employment about 1,800 requests to receive training.

The registration period ends tomorrow.

Subsequently, Serene Murcia will select candidates and March 7 will begin the process of personal interviews.

The course will begin on March 21 until April 14.

With people that have done is create a job pool to cover any low or expanded service.

The training course will study concepts of first aid and rescue, fire fighting, duties and ordinances, prevention of occupational risks, intervention protocols with users and institutions, and use of communications equipment.

This initiative is a step closer to creating jobs and boosting training for residents of the municipality.
