The kids have a place in Murcia Three Cultures International Festival (25/02/2011)

One of the main novelties of this twelfth edition is the creation of the series 'Three Cultures of children'

The Murcia Three Cultures International Festival comes to children.

The XII edition of the festival features a new cycle and wide range of activities offered.

"Three Cultures of children 'was born to play a more active children, including three shows in the programming in which the youngest are both spectators and players.

The cycle will start on Friday May 20 with the assembly of rhythm and percussion Kexev Kezev, by Tapeplas company, with choreography and percussion of the Israelites from Sharon and Yaron Lavi Engler, respectively, and e-Ellida Geyre.

In this performance, visually rich and sonorous, a tap dancer and a percussionist invite the public to know the world of rhythm through a journey in which they encounter different cultures, eras and emotions.

The company will conduct two performances, at 18 and 20 pm in the School of Drama and Dance.

In this scenario and the same time, on Friday May 27 will be on show include Things and sung, played by Gabriel Calvo, renowned folk singer and troubadour involved in the recovery and dissemination of traditional Spanish song, which this time shared the stage with the musician and instrumentalist Chema Corvo.

Murcia children have the opportunity to see a peculiar traveling museum filled with objects and trinkets, while the performers sang folk songs, play instruments and interpret ancient ballads, tongue twisters, stories and riddles of the Three Cultures, which transport the viewer to offices and entertainment other times.

Finally, the cycle will close on Saturday May 28 with a gathering of voices, with the participation of the following groups Murcia: Child and Youth sections of Discantus Choir, directed by Luis Angel Carrillo, the Child and Youth sections Fernández Caballero Choral Society, under the direction of Immaculate Leal and Javier Caballero, and the chorus of White Voices and Youth Choir Hims Mola, led by Pilar Fernández and Manuel Arnaldo.

The appointment will be in the Church of Santo Domingo, from 11 am and the three groups will present a program specially designed for the occasion.

Tapeplas company formed by several Israeli artists interprets the show Kexev Kezev rhythm and percussion, in which a tap dancer and a percussionist invite the public to know the world of rhythm through a journey in which they find different cultures, ages, characters and emotions.
