The father of urban rock, Rosendo, in the Auditorium of Murcia (24/02/2011)

In July, the father of urban rock, Ronsendo (Madrid, 1954) released a new album to the market "Sometimes it's hard to get to the chorus" with which it comes to Murcia Auditorium on Friday February 25 at 21:30 hours, in other music programming.

The Carabanchel always has been clear, his is the rock & roll bluntly, no nonsense and direct.

The former leader of Leno still has the same creativity and strong as ever, and better voice than ever.

Tickets for the concert cost 25 hours.

With more than 20 albums and 100 songs, of which 67 can be heard on their web-behind, Rosendo Mercado has reached the chorus of his life.

"I have almost 40 years in the profession and I look back and I feel more or less relaxed. It took getting here," says his 56 years on Carabanchel rocker that feels "somewhat known" and lucky to be able living from his music "in a recent interview." I remember the determination and enthusiasm to spend hours in my teens caught dead at that first guitar, trying to get a consistent sound, always dreaming of the day I would climb on stage and the ability to record an album with my own songs.

With this background and miles of running through my life experiences I can say, from the vantage point of my fifty-six "chestnuts", which is not gold that glitters and that ... "Sometimes it's hard to get to the chorus," says the rocker Promotional sheet in Warner, a company that releases his latest album.

As is customary, his texts are committed, intelligent and critical, which are placing great analyst Rosendo as the "neighborhood", that is.

For this occasion has had the collaboration of his son Rodrigo in the composition of a theme "Break the chain."

Considered a 'rockautor', Rosendo someone may well be called stubborn, plus endemic, as it is valued as the father of 'rock', which has gained ground and has influenced the younger generation.

He began his career back in 1972 playing guitar in Strawberry, a band that played versions of popular songs and sometimes accompanied soloists.

The band, after several changes became known as Nu.

In 74 Rosendo discovered the music of Rory Gallagher, who became one of his biggest influences, along with other groups like Jethro Tull, Canned Heat, Cream, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath.

Wildebeest abandoned in 1977 and created his own band, Leno, with whom he worked until 1983, when she begins her solo career, bringing out "Mad About annoy" album that was his greatest commercial success.

From that moment the race solo Rosendo is unstoppable.

In 2006 he received the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts.

Last year produced two albums.

On February 1 Hardwood Version "Under the crust" and in late June, the morning disc presented at the Auditorio de Murcia "Sometimes it's hard to get to the chorus."
