The Department of Environment and Urban Quality within the environmental education program, organized the XV edition of the poster competition for schoolchildren, which may attend primary and second students enrolled in any school in the municipality, to conduct a sign that refer to 'What I can do for the forests. The theme is that this year 2011 is the International Year of Forests, which seeks to vindicate the role of forests as an integral part of global sustainable development.
To create the poster, interested parties may use all types of materials and techniques of drawing and painting, although the size will be A3.
Each school may submit up to ten originals by category.
The deadline, which will be performed at the Department of Environment (Montijo Street, number 5), will conclude on May 6.
There will be a first, second and third prizes for each of the five categories (three to eight, Second Cycle of Primary, Elementary Third Cycle, First Cycle and Second Cycle ESO ESO), consisting of a diploma and a prize for the author, and a diploma and a lot of books worth 160 euros for the school.
Also this year, will convene the ninth edition of 'Green Schools Award', aimed at all schools in the county that have participated Green Schools Program, which aims to develop habits that help students better understand those concepts related to environmental education (responsible consumption, waste, renewable energy ...).

The prize is 600 euros, in addition to receiving a commemorative plaque.
