The Board of Governors approved waterproofing works
If the past year, fully renovated Fofó garden, now is the turn of the lake that is in this iconic park in the municipality.
The Governing Board gave its approval to the contract specifications for the renovation of the Lake of the garden, worth 103,000 euros and with a deadline of three months.
The most important action is to carry out the waterproofing of the lake for what will cover the entire surface of the lake with a sheet of high density polyethylene.
On this sheet should contain a geotextile.
This lake was built in the late 80's and remains unchanged since, except the internal sources of the lake that there had to be removed by the legionella.
The garden was renovated in 2009 year in which, among other works, was the construction of a new stage with a shell of reverb to enhance the acoustics of the auditorium.
Also the toilets were renovated, and created the new canteen, three dressing rooms and a waiting room or meeting directly connected to the stage.
