Employment starts to offer training courses to 35 immigrants (12/02/2011)

The workshops are health caretaker and maid service and are aimed at job search

35 immigrants may be formed to participate in courses organized the Department of Employment, headed Beatriz Hontoria.

It aims to offer training to immigrants living in the municipality of Murcia, giving priority to women and youth, and that it is population groups most at risk of social exclusion.

In total, there will be 200 hours of training in the fields of healthcare and maid guard floor; practices in companies (100 hours) and additional intercultural workshops, basic computer and actively seeking employment.

Also be carried out actions to the employment of the participants in the courses.

Employment publicly report the call to the registration period, and forward the information to organizations working with immigrants, social services, etc.

100 interviews were conducted (30 men and 70 women) to select participants in the courses.

35 people (12 men and 23 women) will benefit from the workshops.

Participants will receive personalized attention and be offered services, crèche, transport, to facilitate their attendance at the courses.

It aims to achieve greater social integration of participants in courses, appropriate professional expertise and making contact with a job and the employment of at least 50% of the participants.

The program will run from 1 March to 31 October.

The total investment of this project is 46,154 euros.
